The city and the police need to do something about this. While we feel sorry for people who have lost their home for whatever reason, there is a large play area in the park, where small children go, and there are soccer fields where children play. There are also tennis courts where people play. Bridgeport gets a black eye on enough stuff as it is. If something happens because of the homeless living in the park, it’s going to be worse. The city and the police department need to get up there and do something about the situation and continue sweeping the park. Not just one time and remove and help these people, but continued to sweep the park so more don’t move in.
